How did Progressive Dating get started?

Hi,

Over a year ago, I thought I'd try something new and went speed dating. In spite of my introverted nature, I found speed dating to be a lot of fun and a surprisingly low pressure way to meet new people. However, I was disappointed by the low probability of meeting a Christian. What I liked about speed dating, as opposed to online dating, was the opportunity to speak with someone face to face. It felt more natural than sizing someone up based on their online profile. As far as I knew, there wasn't any Christian speed dating events in Portland. I knew if I wanted it, I'd have to make it happen. My friends and I put our heads together and came up with Progressive Dating!

Enjoy!
